“ Absolutely AMAZING! Wow I can’t say enough great things! It’s beautiful, the food and drinks are delicious and the owners greeted us and were the most lovely people you could meet! We will definitely be back! We had so much fun on Trivia night everything was just phenomenal! ”

“ First and foremost - in some reviews, people complain about how long the food takes to arrive. My perception is that, as a Scottish cuisine restaurant, they are intentionally providing a slow-dining experience which is the norm in Europe. Each time I have been in, I was there between 80 - 120 minutes. I personally love it because I am there to relax and get a break. Just know, going into this experience, it won't be the typical in-and-out (40-60 minutes) of most American restaurants. Second- I go here for the afternoon tea. Everything here is an adorable size! Tiny cookies, cakes, creamer, and so on. So far, my favorite teas are strawberry green, cocoa rouge, and dark forrest. Each guest gets a pot to her/himself. Once I came in for dinner and had the sausage and beans. It was good, but I wished I had tried the shepherd's pie instead. Next time! The butternut soup and the tomato bisque are good, but the potato and leek soup is exceptional! Third - the service is good. All my servers have been attentive. On separate visits to the restaurant, both the owner and her husband came over to say hi and chat with me. Nice people! ”

“ One of the best restaurants I've been too. Warm atmosphere and attention to detail was impressive. Flavors were incredibly balanced in both the food and the drinks.Scottish and English food isn't necessarily known for being amazing, but this place takes it to a whole new level. The service was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. They offer such a variety of menu items and experiences throughout the year Planning on going again and again. 3 course menu with 2 drinks each. ”

“ Torra Tea was so amazing! We enjoyed a wonderful tea service and cocktails. Their made from scratch food is so delicious, especially the Cullen Skink soup. They were also very accommodating to some filming I was doing for an upcoming social media video. Highly recommend Torra Tea for date night, girls' day, mother-daughter days, or special occasions. It's great to support a small woman-owned business! ”

“ I took my mom here for a little birthday lunch, and we were both genuinely impressed. Our server was friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the food was excellent. We ordered à la carte with a pot of tea and tried the wings, two soups, and salads—every dish was delicious. I’ve been to tea rooms where the food takes a backseat to the tea and ambiance, more about presentation than flavor, but not here. Everything tasted great. The atmosphere was lovely as well, very pretty and fitting for a tea room, though it was a bit chilly, likely because of the large windows. The tables were beautifully set, and I love that they use local tea! Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but that’s typical for tea service. With the à la carte options, though, you can keep it more reasonable. We spent about $50 for tea and plenty of food. They also surprised my mom with a complimentary birthday treat, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The only downside was that the cake and was pretty frozen and not as flavorful as the rest of the meal, so we didn’t finish it. Still, since it was free, it’s hard to complain. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely come back! ”

“ We returned to Torra for a special Glenlivet whisky and food pairing and it was a real treat. I was curious how they would meet the challenge of what to pair with single malt whisky and they surpassed my expectations by a wide mile. Each dish was meticulously crafted and flat-out delicious! My favorite was the seared scallops with grilled AND fresh pineapple salsa with asparagus. Yummy! Beautifully decorated room with attentive servers. I look forward to returning soon to try their famous short ribs. ”

“ One of our young granddaughters had a birthday recently and said she wanted a tea party. We took her and her sisters and mom to Torra Tea and made everyone very happy. The little girls said the place was so fancy and they absolutely loved it. The adults enjoyed it even more. My wife and daughter had tea that they loved and I splurged on an old fashioned that was a very tasty cocktail. We had scones, cakes, and torts that we shared bites of that were delicious. What a fun time and the staff treated us well too. ”

If you are looking for a unique dining experience that offers everything from a large variety of teas, cocktails, mocktails, a delicious variety of baked items and other food choices, you can build your experience in any way you choose! I highly recommend the lemon curd! I put it on EVERYTHING! YUM! ”
